Ami is the reincarnation of the Princess of Mercury, and  holds the power to transform into Sailor Mercury, the Soldier of Water. She was the first of the soldiers to be awakened by Luna after meeting sailor moon (apart from Venus, who was awakend by Artemis a year before) and so has known her the longest.

Luna also gave Ami a small supercomputer and VR visor, which she used to analyse people and substances, make calculations, find escape routes and generally do things that are impossible with the normal eye.

 She sailor moon's future daughter from Crystal Tokyo in the 30th century. She went back in time to the 20th century to find the legendary Sailor Moon and the Imperial Silver Crystal (which disappeared into her body in the 30th century), so she could help restore Earth, which had almost been destroyed by the Black Moon family. Later on (in the S series) she is sent back by her parents to train to become a Sailor Soldier, and can now transform into Sailor Chibi-Moon (Sailor Mini-Moon

 Saturn is unarguably the most powerful of the sailors, with the power to destroy the toughest foe and even entire world with a simple swing of her Glaive, a large sythe-like weapon she carries around with her. Hotaru Tomoe was the last of the Sailor Senshi to realise her origins, when she became Sailor Saturn, Soldier of Silence and bringer of revolution.

 Sailor V faked her own death in England to get over a broken heart and returned to Japan, where she finally met with the rest of the inner Senshi. Originally posing as a decoy Princess (in the Manga at least, the real Princess was Sailor Moon), she was revealed to be the leader of the Sailor Senshi and the Princess' right hand.

sailor neptune is the former Princess of Neptune and transforms into Sailor Neptune, whose focal element is water. Interestingly, she shares this element of influence with Sailor Mercury. Her planetary symbol resembles the fork of a trident staff, usually associated with Neptune, the God of the Sea.

Sailor mars, Rei Hino is the wairroir and princces of the planet mars.She is the master of the flames and fire. 

She attends an all-girls school and although is very popular there, she was ONCE avoided by a lot of people for being a psychic girl. She is also a very talented singer and songwriter, and almost single handedly created an entire show herself!

Standing at 5'06" at the age of 14, Makoto is the tallest and most physically developned of the inner senshi. When fighting she is likely to try and engage in hand to hand combat as well as use her Senshi powers, and is well versed in this field with a sound knowledge of karate. Her powers come from the clouds and she can control and shoot forks and balls of lightning from her hands. She also has a small lightning rod that appears from her tiara to catch the energy when she calls on her guardian planet.

She found it difficult to make friends at her new school as people tended to avoid her, branding her a trouble maker in light of her previous school record. This didn't bother Usagi, however, who made friends with her on account of wanting some of her lunch! This is also one of Makoto's strong points, she is an excellent cook and very independant. She is also very strong-willed.
